Procedure of Cryogenic Ethanol Extraction
1
Ethanol is cooled to -60°C and poured into a centrifugal extraction system. The biomass is added to the chilled ethanol, and the extraction of cannabis begins.
2
After extraction, the centrifuge is turned on to remove all ethanol from the cannabis, ensuring the maximum possible yield.
3
The ethanol, now infused with cannabinoids, undergoes filtration followed by solvent distillation.
4
After distillation, the process is the same as for CO2 extraction, with decarboxylation to the client’s desired level (conversion of CBDA to CBD).
5
A final analysis follows, with potential product creation.
